Terms and Conditions
 
Ordering
 

Upon receipt of your order along with payment, Gemstonejewellery.com.au will send you an email notification shortly afterwards. This would include a Tracking number, list and price of the items ordered, any other packing, shipping, insurance charges, delivery address and the expected day of despatch. We would also advise you to pay any charges, if due, as per prescribed mode of payment.

Upon receipt of your order along with payment, gemstonejewellery.com.au will send you an email confirmation shortly afterwards regarding the expected day of despatch. We would also advise you to pay any charges, if due, as per prescribed mode of payment.

We only display items we have in stock. However, sometimes an item in large demand may be on backorder.  On receipt of order we will notify the customer if the item is no longer in stock.  In that case the customer has the following options:
  • To cancel the order placed
  • To change the order
  • To wait for the product (This may take about 4 to 6 weeks. We will    advise you about exact availability date)
When the order is cancelled by the customer due to the exceptional circumstances of product not being available due to unforeseen conditions, full amount would be refunded on receipt of customer’s instructions

Please note that your order is only an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Gemstonejewellery.com.au, so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive an email confirming that your item is available / has arrived back in stock and will be dispatched.

If there are any issues with your order, we will attempt to contact you via the email address listed on the order. Please make sure we can respond to this email address, i.e., that it is a valid email address and that spam filters will not reject the message. If no response is received regarding an open issue within a reasonable time frame of one week from sending the Email, we would cancel the order. Modifications to an order can be made before shipment; however, all modifications must be received in writing (via email) from the email address listed on the order.

For your protection, orders over $500.00 would be shipped to the billing address only, unless & until we receive an email from you (besides the payment) authorizing us to ship at the shipping address.

All international sales and deliveries are subject to extra shipping & handling charges, insurance, custom duties and taxes etc. which are the responsibility of the customer.

Once you have made the product selections please enter your mode of payment. You can pay with the following options.

Money Order.
Paypal.
Bank cheque.

We at Gemstonejewellery.com.au would like you to learn more about us, our jewellery and services but not at the cost of your privacy. We understand how frustrating it could be to end up on a list which generates piles of mail both electronics or otherwise. We respect that and we would never sell, rent, provide or share your information with any other company / organisation not affiliated to us.

We consider personal privacy a very important issue. We don’t send unsolicited emails, nor use popups. Personal information is collected only with respect to orders placed on the site.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. Only we have access to/collect information that you voluntarily provide us via email, online order placement or other direct contact with you.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us.

We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. fulfill, verify and ship an order.

 
Security

 
We take adequate precautions to protect your information. We don’t collect sensitive information (such as credit card data). Our modes of payment are fully secure.

We have, in our team, a computer fraud prevention expert to process the orders, to ensure secure payments and to maintain integrity of the secure web site. We have a reliable and strong security policy.

Your information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by noticing a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. All secure information/ customer address information taken via telephone is shredded in a timely manner. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

All orders would be dispatched to the delivery address within 7-8 working days after clearance of payment. Large orders may require additional processing time.  However, please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery as some orders may take longer to collate.
   
Delivery
 

Your items would be dispatched on receipt/clearance of payment. Please give 3 days for order processing, packaging and shipping

Australia:

  •  Shipping is by local registered Australia Post. Just takes a few days! 
  • Packaging, Postage and Insurance is FREE for all Jewellery orders.
  • Any items from the miscellaneous section will be subject to a delivery charge, due to the size and weight of the items. The cost of the delivery of these items will vary depending upon the item, please contact us for cost information on any of these items.
  • All orders would be dispatched to the delivery address within 3-4 working days after clearance of payment. However, please allow up to 10 working days for delivery as some orders may take longer to collate.

International:

  • Shipping is by  International Registered Australia Post.
  • A Waiver of Liability is required, should the package be lost, on all International Shipments, as we cannot track the package once it leaves Australia.
  • All international sales and deliveries are subject to extra shipping & handling charges, insurance, custom duties and taxes etc. which are the responsibility of the customer. For jewellery the  Packing charges are FREE but Postage and Insurance is to be paid by the customer.
  • The cost of Packing, Postage and Insurance of items from the miscellaneous section will depend upon the item. Please contact us for cost information on any of these items.
  • Australian law ensures that all transactions are in Australian dollars so our bank will make the conversion from your currency.  The exchange rate of the day will be used so there may be a very slight variation depending on the rate of exchange at the time.  This is usually a few cents either way

Return Policy
 
  • We will exchange the item for an equally valued item or refund the purchase price of the item (less shipping charges and packaging charges if received by us, in UNWORN, UNDAMAGED, RESALABLE CONDITION in the ORIGINAL PACKAGING within 15 days of receipt.
  • Basically, the items must be returned to us in the same condition they were shipped to you. 15 days allow you a week to look the item(s) over and a week for the item(s) to get back to us via Registered Post.  Postage and Insurance charges are deductible.
  • Return shipping on exchanges is billed at current rates. Damaged or visibly worn items cannot be accepted for return. Additional restocking fees will be assessed on items returned if the packaging is missing, damaged or returned slightly outside the warranty period, at our discretion.
  •  Please package your returns well! We cannot be responsible for items damaged in transit. Send exchanges/returns with a copy of packing slip to us :


         

   
Complaint
 

Gemstonejewellery has a formal complaints procedure and any complaints should be emailed to customercare@gemstonejewellery.com.au.  We will send you a reply notifying action taken/resolution.

   
General
 
    • Please be aware that our jewellery is hand made from natural materials .The composition and colour may vary slightly from the images shown. Due to this reason handmade earrings can’t be guaranteed to have an exact likeness within each matching pair, but discrepancies should not be discernible to the naked eye. Please note your beautiful product has a unique personality and character.
    • We reserve the right to ban any customer based upon use of profanity, rudeness or harassing behaviour to our staff, unauthorized credit card use, excessive returns, tampering with the website or order form or any other activity we deem inappropriate.
    • Our liability on any purchase is limited to and cannot exceed the purchase price.
    • Prices and descriptions are subject to change without notice.    These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by    Gemstonejewellery on the site from time to time. Your viewing of the contents of this website and any ordering/transactions thereafter are based on the condition that you fully agree with these terms and conditions.
